General Financial Aid

American InterContinental University participates in a variety of financial aid programs for the benefit of students, who must meet eligibility requirements in order to participate. Many employers also offer the benefit of tuition reimbursement to help students pay for their education.

AIU administers its financial aid programs in accordance with prevailing federal and state laws and its own institutional policies. Students are responsible for providing all requested documentation.

The first step in applying for financial aid is to complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA). Once completed, your application will be processed through our Financial Aid Office. All information is kept confidential.

At AIU, our Financial Aid Office welcomes opportunities to assist students with their pursuit of the financial aid for which they qualify. If you encounter questions about the financial aid process, or if you would like to learn more about various grants, scholarships, loans and earned assistance available through AIU, please contact one of our Financial Aid Advisors or download the AIU Catalog. University grants or scholarships are based on established criteria as published in the University's catalog and are awarded after verification that the conditions of eligibility have been met.
